Hi! My name is Dennis Wojda. Designing outstanding publications for demanding clients is my bread and butter.
I specialize in magazines and books.
I was born and raised in Stockholm but later relocated to Warsaw to study graphic design at the Academy of Fine Arts. My first jobs were in advertising and for a few years I worked as an art director at Grey, Y&R and McCann-Erickson. But as I was missing the graphic design part in my work, I decided to change the course of my career. I soon discovered a passion for designing books and magazines.
Solid art studies and marketing know-how from the advertising industry, combined with a long experience as an editorial designer, define the way I work today. My work experience range from being a freelance designer to a full-time art director and creative group head. My work has been awarded multiple design prizes in Poland and the USA (Chimera, Szpalty Roku, Pearl Awards.)
HOW I WORK
There are two goals I focus on as a designer: to give my clients the best quality they can get for their money and to constantly evolve in my profession. Depending on the needs I can work in-house or online at all stages of the design process – from concept development to final layout and published product.
Right now I am available for work in Stockholm. I speak Swedish, English and Polish fluently.
I love to take on creative freelance commissions such as designing logos, books and record covers, posters, websites etc. I also make comics and editorial illustrations for magazines and children’s books.
Most in the world I love spending time with my family and eating vanilla ice cream. I also enjoy a cup of black coffee while listening to Motown soul or Brazilian vintage pop. If I find the time, I take a ride on my kick scooter or read a fantasy book. I also make a great pesto and chocolate cake and dream of playing in a batucada band one day.
